What a Year! Also, Pies Needed!

powisset in winter! (snow coming soon?) Happy Holidays to our wonderful farm community! I hope you all have a great end of 2014 and holiday season if you celebrate one or many!  It has been an incredible year of growing food and growing our farm community here at Powisset Farm.  I am grateful every day for the people that I am honored to get to work with who make all the crazy plans of a farm season possible.  I am grateful to all of you who come out to the farm each week and enjoy the food, the land and each other.  And I am grateful for what is to come in 2015; future tomatoes to eat, weeds to pull and friendships to make out in those fields.  My birthday is in just a few days (it’s a big one) and this year, I will be spending it at the farm, decorating a tree, listening to Christmas records from my childhood and hopefully doing a lot of singing and dancing in my kitchen!  I’ll see you in the new year! Dedham Food Pantry   Urgent need for pies!  December 2014     ALERT! The food pantry urgently needs 110 baked pies for this Saturday's turkey give-away to our clients.
